Prenatal Yoga and Yoga for Women looking to becoming pregnant
Join us for a yoga class that cultivates a sacred space for you to share about pregnancy, labor, and birth in a nurturing and supportive environment. We strive to create a strong community to bond together in celebration of this rite of passage. This class is will guide you through safe postures that are not only specifically geared for the pregnant body, but also can used in labor. Each class will include pranayama (breathing practices) and relaxation techniques to calm the mind, body, and spirit throughout the journey to motherhood and beyond. Women looking to become pregnant are welcome. This class is appropriate for all stages of pregnancy, and no previous yoga experience is required.
Saturdays, 1:30pm, Wednesdays 7:30pm and Fridays, 6:00pm
This is a combined prenatal and postnatal class, providing a unique opportunity for new and expectant mothers to practice yoga together. In this sacred and safe environment, we will learn from each other what motherhood can be like while practicing postures that address our specific needs for the prenatal and postnatal body, mind, and spirit. While this is not a Mommy and Me class, babies (up to crawling age) are encouraged to join us.

Partner Prenatal Yoga
On the last Saturday of each month, we offer you the option to celebrate pregnancy with a partner! Join us to practice prenatal yoga in a fun, relaxed atmosphere with the option to bring a spouse, partner or friend. If your partner is not available, please come to the class. The class will accommodate all who want to attend. Singles will submit one class pass to attend, partners will submit two class passes.
The practice of yoga and breathing can greatly improve your physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. Explore gentle movement and stretching postures with the option of partner support. You will also learn mindful breathing practices and relaxation techniques that can be done during pre-labor, labor, delivery and parenthood after your baby is born. Enjoy tea and snacks after class to celebrate, share ideas and experiences and ask questions.
This class is appropriate for all stages of pregnancy, and no previous yoga experience is required. Practicing yoga with a partner will foster a deeper connection with each other and your baby.
Postpartum Yoga for Moms and Babies, birth-6 months
Congratulations! You and your baby have created a bond that will last a lifetime. Embrace this special time in your life and enjoy yoga that you can practice with other new moms, and you also have the option of bringing your new baby with you to class. This class is especially designed for postpartum moms to attend for as long after their pregnancy as they like, and babies are welcome up to six months of age. Moms will practice special postures to gently help restore balance, alignment, strength and tone. They will also release areas of the body that may tighten from lifting, carrying baby supplies and nursing the baby. If your baby is awake, some postures may also be done with your baby. This class is held in a nurturing environment that supports sleeping, nursing and/or smiling, laughing or crying babies. Attend the class and find a community of support and comfort. Please wait to attend the class until your doctor says you are ready to begin after giving birth.

Parent and Baby Yoga for Moms, Dads and caregivers, 6 months- 2 years
Continue on with the journey of yoga with your family. Once your baby is old enough to crawl and toddle, we invite you to a fun, engaging and enchanting yoga class that you can do with your baby and toddler. Practice special poses to do together as little ones learn, grow and have fun. The class is a way for families to connect with each other and their community and share the practice of yoga to last a lifetime. Babies and toddlers will also learn and experience early socializing skills. No previous yoga experience is necessary. This class is very supportive of babies who enjoy crawling and walking around while watching the practice too. Also, older siblings are welcome to attend.

We have created a facebook page for current and past prenatal yoga students and families to foster community and sharing during this special time in your life. Please use this page to share, ask questions and support one another throughout pregnancy into motherhood. It would also be fun if you could share photos of your babies.
